About CarSeatFacts
CarSeatFacts answers one question per car seat model: is this seat still OK to use, and what are its limits? Each model page lists the facts parents look for, such as how long the seat may be used, where the manufacture date is printed, the weight and height limits for each mode, whether it is certified for aircraft, and any NHTSA recall that names it.
Every fact is quoted from the manufacturer's own instruction manual, with the PDF page it comes from, or taken from an NHTSA recall record. When a manual does not state something, the page says "Not stated in the manual" instead of filling the gap. The site covers 60 models from 14 brands, with 11 recall campaigns mapped to model numbers.
CarSeatFacts gives no safety advice of its own and does not rank seats. The label on your seat and its current manual always take priority over this site.
